Uses:-Valcyte 450mg tablet is an antiviral drug. It works by preventing viral cells from multiplying in your body. Valcyte 450mg tablet treats cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the eye in adults with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Valcyte 450mg tablets also prevents CMV infection in adults and children who have received an organ transplant (heart, kidney, or kidney-pancreas). Valcyte 450mg tablet will not cure CMV but it can help control the infection.

Side Effects:- diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fever, shaky movements (tremors), low blood cell counts in a blood test, and rejection of the transplanted organ (graft).
